The Undergraduate Study Program in Applied International Business, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Padjadjaran was established to answer business challenges that are very dynamic, especially in the current era of globalization. By the enactment of the Asean Economic Community (MEA) and the signing of the World Trade Organization (WTO) pact by the Government of Indonesia, human resources with competence in international trade are needed. On the other hand, the Indonesian government targets an increase in exports by 500% in the next 10-15 years and to grow 1000 new businesses with export potential, especially in West Java. For this reason, the Applied International Business Undergraduate Study Program is here, to produce graduates who have entrepreneurial abilities and become trend setters in the global business arena.
Produce export-import certified graduates with managerial qualifications who are able to perform in preparing, implementing, directing and evaluating import-export activities in international companies, forwarder companies, banking, supported by mastery of international languages with effective communication, negotiation skills, mastery of information systems and technology in the field of export and import comprehensively.
The learning process in the BI D4 Study Program emphasizes the practical/practical approach by 70% and theory by 30% as well as implementing the Student-Centered Learning method. The maximum number of students per class is 30 people, so students can actively participate in the learning process.
Print export-import certified graduates, have managerial qualifications, have effective communication skills supported by mastery of international languages, as well as comprehensive mastery of information systems and technology in the field of export-import.
